How Many Counties?

California requires County Governments to exist.  There are nearly sixty Counties, though!  I hope to merge-together many Counties into only a few Counties, in the six or so range, while no fewer than four Counties total, if feasible.  Having nearly sixty Counties is very wasteful, bureaucratically sluggish, costly to Taxpayers for the many salaries required, costly to the Taxpayers for the many redundant buildings & grounds, fat-cat bureaucrat salaries & expenses, that each individual County currently must have independently, & so-on. 

It's cumbersome, redundant, inefficient, bureaucratically gluttonous, costly, & frankly – not justified. 

Four, five, or six Counties would be enough.  I'll fix that, if elected, by 'trimming the bureaucratic fat'.
