Opportunity

I'm opposed to DEI, AA, quotas, pointless & unnecessary job-creation as in the 1970's, & so-forth. 

DEI gets your area overtaken by Criminals & Gangs.  DEI gets your entire neighborhood burnt to the ground because of an Imbecile not ensuring its Firemen had actual water to fight fires with.  AA gets the most qualified of a discriminatory class of people, but they're not necessarily actually qualified.  It doesn't result in 'the most qualified, of the FULLY-qualified', being hired.  It only results in the nearest-to-qualified being hired.  And then your whole Town burns to the ground as your Firemen go without water-supply.  Following that, your friends' Towns get overrun by Criminals & your Police Chief has no idea how to prevent, counter, & stop the onslaught of crime.  Because YOU voted for people who made that happen to you.  So, who's to blame?  Let me ask you something.  Are you stupid or something?  NO, you're not stupid, so vote-in those who will best serve We, the People, & not serve themselves & their lifelong public-trough careers.

In times of depression, recession, financial drought, Wuhan Flu, housing crash, layoffs, Business closures, terminations, & etc – we take very hard hits.  Families fracture, substance-abuse skyrockets, domestic violence increases, petty-crimes increase, Welfare fraud increases, & so-on. 

That's us, but it's not the parasitic-sloth of the public-trough.  They go right on collecting their incomes, collecting taxes, seizing our property to sell for their gain, demanding raises via their Unions, & keep on livin' the good life of the oh-so-sacrificial public-servant. 

I know of many examples of extended-families who worm their way into Taxpayer-funded careers & avoid Competitive Commerce like it's a plague.  Married Couples will have one or both at the public-trough, risking nothing by avoiding competition.  They hoard public-trough jobs with dual-incomes, while people who have to compete & perform to survive, often can't get jobs at all, or, simply live within their means on one income while the other Spouse takes care of the home. 
 

My plan is to ration public-trough jobs evenly to the Public, & emplace rules that prevent multiple public-trough jobs within extended families.  Those families are going to have to learn to perform efficiently & attractively to survive Competitive Commerce & endure the retarding regulations of Kalifornia, until I have us back at being California. 

In one extended-family I'm familiar with, most are dual-income.  Out of a family of 5, 3 are public-trough, 6 of 8, 3 of 7, & 4 of 14.  In total, that's 16 of 34, & that is unacceptable!

Public Service employment & contracting, will be rationed evenly among the populace.  No more of this "Government, is the family Business" because "No, it ain't!"
